“Family is the anchor during rough waters.”
I came across this quote recently and it just struck a cord with me.
I am a big family person!…. and as you may know, we live across the country from most all of our family, so family has become especially important to me the past few years.
But for me family isn’t just blood. Family are the people that you care about and they care about you… your happiness is their happiness and your sadness is their sadness. Family are the people who you would do anything for, you are always there for them and they are always there of you.
Family is the anchor during rough waters....
They are the ones that keep you grounded when everything around you seems to be going wrong. They are the safe haven even when you can’t quite see the light yet.
Family is unconditional, not just when it’s convenient for them.
Family has seen you at your highest and lowest moments and they haven’t gone anywhere.
Family are the ones you can call upon, the ones you can always go to, the ones that you know will always be there with open arms.
I have been blessed with an amazing family and amazing friends that I now consider family.
Cling to those people, Love them as much as you can.
Those people are your anchor and you are theirs… through rough & calm waters, Family is always there.
