Enjoy your own path // Encouragement
The other day I was thinking about how it’s so easy to get distracted by what others are doing.
It’s so much easier to do now days with all the technology and social media apps that are right at our fingertips.
Comparison is the thief of joy…… and is such a huge time waster!
Let’s face it, we’re all just trying our best and not everyone is on the same path in life….
So, don’t worry about people on a different path!
I get it, I’m totally guilty of this too…..I’ll see someone on social media who seems to have it all together (with business or balancing life) and I get so down on myself because I never feel good enough….I feel like I’ll never figure things out. But then I remind myself…. they are on a different path than me.
So next time you find yourself comparing just remember that you are on your own path.
No path is greater than the other, it’s unique to each and every one of us.
Focus on what’s ahead of you and enjoy the beauty along the way.
Do you ever feel like you are just trying to keep up?.. Like the days are moving too fast? If you are like me you have felt this way before. It's time to embrace the simple and slow life. Time to embrace simple and slow living and enjoy life more.
