1 year ago today our sweet little Ellie joined our family.

It was a surprisingly relaxing day, despite the intense contractions. Thankfully everything went fairly quickly and very smoothly.

From the very moment they put her on my chest, she grabbed my finger and held on with all her might.... ever since she has always been nearby mama.

One of the most memorable moments was when Lacey met her little sister for the first time. Throughout the pregnancy Lacey always said she was having a little sister.... it's like she knew (which was impressive because we waited to find out). Seeing that instant sister bond was amazing.... and they've been inseparable ever since.

I can't believe that this year has gone by so quickly. It doesn't seem like our little Ellie should be a year already.

The past year has been amazing, busy, tiring & wonderful all at once. Seeing Ellie's little personality come out more and more is such a lovely thing to be apart of. We can't wait to watch her grow (hopefully not too fast) and to see the person she will become.
