Simple ways to get into the Fall mood

I just love this time of year… there is something so cozy about the Fall season.

……but it seems like as you get older sometimes it can be a little more difficult to fully embrace the season you are in.

I think it’s because as you get older, you have more responsibilities and more decisions to make.

But I believe that there are some simple things that we can do to spark that wonder and magic of this beautiful season again.

So, grab a warm beverage, cuddle up with a blanket and get ready to be inspired with some simple way to get into the Fall mood……

Fall Playlist/Ambient Videos

I love having music or Ambient video playing in the background. Just something to add to the environment but not distracting. You can check out Youtube or Spotify for Fall or Halloween playlists or you can check out these Ambient Videos:

Cozy Book

Nothing says Fall quite like snuggling up and reading an easy to read cozy book. Here are some ones I have come across (please note I have not read all of these, so I do not know if they are any good or what it contains). This list is a mix of great books for just mamas to enjoy and read aloud books for the whole family.

Fall Activities

Finding some fun Fall activities can activate that spark and wonder quickly. Here are some ideas to try:

  • If you can got from an evening walk or drive with the family to find Fall Decorations.

  • Hiking

  • Camping

Creating a cozy enviroment

This one doesn’t have to be costly or complicated…… just use what you have to create your own cozy environment. Put some extra throw blankets on the couch, put out some candle or even fake candles, use simple Fall decorations that you already have or make your own.

There are many more things I could add to these lists, but this is a good start. Pick a couple and give it go!
